You can read about our incredible panelists Shreya Malik, Yasmin El Baily, and Huma Hamid below.
Shreya Malik is a seasoned technology professional with industry experience spanning product management, software engineering, and diversity & inclusion leadership. She is passionate about utilizing mentorship to empower women and members of other minority groups. Outside of her day job as a product manager at Microsoft, Shreya is a digital content creator (@codewithshreya) specializing in helping students and professionals realize their potential in the tech space. Some of her other interests include digital nomading, hiking, coffee, and food (Yelp elite anyone?).
Yasmin El Baily is the Product Manager for the Merchant Success team at Pinterest, helping trustworthy and inspiring merchants tell their brand story on Pinterest. She owns product vision and strategy for merchant onboarding, including The Verified Merchant Program, and most recently she's been passionate about onboarding and highlighting merchants who are majority-owned by members of underrepresented groups. Yasmin was previously the Ads & Shopping Lead on the Business Operations team at Pinterest. She joined Pinterest after graduating from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and spent the 6 years prior as a Vice President at Citadel Capital (a private equity firm specializing in infrastructure and industrial investing in Africa). She is a proud Egyptian, an avid cook and baker, and a helicopter dog mom. When not deep in a Pinterest rabbit hole, she's at the symphony, the ballet, cooking for friends, or on a remote beach.
Huma Hamid is a tech-maker by heart, a volunteer, and a community leader by soul, with a passion for building digital products, platforms, teams, and communities. During her 15+ years in tech, she has been part of several R&D and engineering groups focused on building digital platforms and products to serve industries like infrastructure and construction engineering, network and communication engineering, digital learning, and customer experience. She is currently a technical program manager at Cisco and leading the digital transformation program to build the next-generation learning platform and applications using the cloud infrastructure. Huma is the co-founder and the former President of Pakistani Women in Computing (PWiC), a USA-based global non-profit organization. We look forward to seeing you all there!
