Hear from Columbia alumnae about their experiences in and journeys to business school IN PERSON on Monday March 20th at 6 PM in the Satow Room in Lerner! This event will take form of a panel, with an opportunity to network with our speakers directly afterwards.
We expect CMs to attend this semesterly alumnae event panel. Please RSVP to the event and put any questions you have in this Google Form. Our panelists have attended business schools at top institutions, including Wharton and Chicago Booth, and one of our panelists has experience applying and getting accepted to top business schools, including Columbia Business School and MIT Sloan. Additionally, our panelists have INCREDIBLE backgrounds working at Morgan Stanley, Rothschild & Co., and McKinsey.
Below are the speaker bios:
Michelle Tew CC ’15 is the founder and CEO of Homiah, a Southeast Asian pantry brand that offers flavorful spice and sauce kits. Having grown up in Malaysia, Michelle brings her personal experience around local Southeast cultures and complex cuisine to Homiah. Before starting her own business, she has worked at major advertising and consulting firms, including as an Associate at McKinsey. Michelle is also a graduate of Columbia University and University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Francesca Gnuva CC ’22 is a first-year Investment Banking Analyst at Rothschild & Co in New York, in the Infrastructure, Power, and Renewables group. She graduated from Columbia in May 2022, majored in Applied Mathematics, Phi Beta Kappa. Francesca applied for deferred MBA programs during her senior spring and can talk about the testing process, application process, etc. In her free time, she loves painting and wine tasting. She will be attending Columbia Business School, and previously graduated from Columbia College, Columbia University.
Nicolle Lee CC '15 is an Associate at Morgan Stanley in the Real Estate Investment Banking group. Prior to Morgan Stanley, she held managerial roles at Voya Financial. She is also a licensed real estate salesperson in NYC, specializing in luxury rentals. Nicolle graduated from Columbia with a B.A. in financial economics and holds a MBA from Wharton, where she majored in real estate. While at Columbia, she was actively involved in the Multicultural Business Association and currently serves on Habitat for Humanity's Women Build Council.
